Appreciating swimming

beauty and instruction with underwater swimmer photographs

The author, an Olympic champion swimmer, uses her camera to communicate what she has learned from a lifetime of immersion. She conveys a palpable understanding of what it means for the human body to be in water, to be compelled by it and through it.
